Our Story
Arizona Off Road Adventures was created in 2020 when our family discovered the great fun and exploration that can be done in Arizona through off-roading. Andy and Ryan started providing tours to be able to share the views and unique experiences with locals and vacationers. Both Andy and Ryan have been off-roading and exploring Tonto National Forest for a very long time. Our goal is to provide a safe, informative, fun and even adventurous trip through the Tonto National Forrest.
Meet Our Tour Guide Drivers
Andrew Colburn - is the Co-Owner of Arizona Off-Road Adventures. He lives in Mesa, Arizona with his wife Candace and two children: Madelyn and Andrew. Andy grew up in the Midwest near Chicago, IL. He attended Illinois State University and earned a Computer Science degree. Andrew moved to Arizona 8 years ago and absolutely embraces the active, adventurous nature of the state. In Arizona Andrew runs his Air BnB, sells plants and seeds on Etsy and runs desert off-roading tours. He is very knowledgeable about the plants, animals, and history of the area.
Ryan Blakesslee - is the Co-Owner of Arizona Off-Road Adventures. Ryan grew up in the Midwest in Minnesota but has lived most of his adult life in Arizona. He is very knowledgeable about the desert and Tonto National Forrest. Ryan has been the tour-guide on the majority of off-road trips for our company! He has captured photos of lots of wildlife and knows the best views and photo opportunities.
Dennis Colburn -Is Andy's father and is so knowledgeable about the history of the west! He loves the dessert and showing people that actual landmarks that go with the history. He'll likely tell you about the Superstition Mountains Lost Dutchman Gold!
RJ Blakesslee - is the Ryan's son of Arizona Off-Road Adventures. RJ grew up in Arizona has lived all of his adult life in Arizona. He is very knowledgeable about the desert and Tonto National Forrest.
